The Crew Behind The Blog
The Lan-Dior blog was conceived over a Sunday lunch attended by Lan Dior, Viet Le, Mailan Dao, and David Le, in Walnut Creek, California. The inspiration for doing the blog came from the many posts that Lan had shared on her Facebook page, especially those featuring photos on style, fashion and travel.
As the concept incubated for nearly a year, we all collaborated and pitched in: Lan with outfit selections, venues, and modeling; Mailan with style and design suggestions for the site’s look and feel; Viet for modeling, philosophy, poetry, copywriting, and editing; and David, for overall strategy, design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of the site.
We’ve known or bumped into each other repeatedly over the years, starting from our high-school days in Vietnam, to Europe, Asia, and the U.S. We are now a close-knit group of friends having a good time crafting this blog, and we hope that this site will inspire and entertain you. If it also gives you ideas about style, travel, philosophy, the arts, which you may then try out for yourself, then all the better!
